This project was created entirely in Photoshop and AI with matte painting, without using any 3D-modeling. Each student was assigned a shape to work with, where I got the shape pyramid. We began by generating three AI sketches using our shape in different landscapes. Our class then voted on which sketch for us to work with.
This lush, green landscape with a pyramid-shaped sauna was the winner of my sketches. The green landscape is the base of the picture that also has the pyramid shapes in the mountains. I have added a lot of birds, stones and a waterfall to get the feeling of this landscape being a nature reserve where you can look at the beautiful birds while having a sauna. This was a great project for developing my Photoshop skills and exploring creative storytelling through matte painting.
